Overwiew of Razer Edge Pro 10.1-Inch 256GB Tablet Review:
Razer Edge Pro 10.1 inch 256GB version

Razer pretty much out of nowhere, as far as I was concerned anyway, have produce the Razer Edge Pro gaming tablet. Its powerful and looks a million dollars and in a nut shell is probably the most advanced piece of mobile gaming technology available to buy today.

Labelled by Razer as THE WORLDS FIRST tablet specifically designed for PC games incredibly even now in 2013. Boasting a 10.1" screen which on reflection is actually pretty big for a mobile gaming device. Most of us will be used to the tiny screen sizes and resolutions of the 3DS or PSP style gaming units.

It also has a solid state hard drive, which in essence uses the same technology as a USB stick, where there are no moving parts inside the memory storage, translating in to impeccable performance speeds. Currently nothing else on the market offers anywhere near similar gaming specs to this.

The other nice thing about the Razer Edge Pro, is that not only is it ready to play any game you throw at it, but because it has Windows 8, it works seamlessly with all software and applications too. It is the best all-rounder for day to day work, school or college assignments, reading, research and of course, playing the ultimate latest Windows games.

Jam packed full of cool features, the Razer Edge Pro also boasts the following:

Switch in to tablet mode for just a second and we have a fully functional Windows 8 tablet device.

If that's not enough, get the docking station, turning you tablet in to a PC device.

Then you have, of course, mobile gaming mode%u2026 stand out from the crown, and then some with all its gaming glory%u2026

Also available is a mobile gamepad controller, which not only looks awesome, but is actually very functional, adding a new depth of intensity to already amazing games with a feedback vibration just like your PS3 controller%u2026

Then with the Home Console mode, simply doc to your home TV to turn your Razer Edge Pro in to a complete gaming console.

Budget Gaming Tablets 2013 - Best Cheap Gaming Tablets

What are the best gaming tablet devices 2013?

Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700

The Asus Transformer has a high-resolution screen on par with that of the newest iPad. Everything runs quick and smooth, the camera was much better than most tablets also featuring a rear facing camera. Its GPS seemed to work well on our testing. It has a thin, light and crisp feel to it and in gaming tests the screen and performance was good.

Price: $399.00

Overall: Very impressed with the Asus Transformer, the overall look and feel, combined with its fast performance makes it a worth consideration.

Kobo Arc 64GB Tablet

The Kobo Arc is a very impressive piece of gaming equipment. It boasts 16million colour HD display which makes a work of art with game graphics. We found the batter life to be very good even at high usage and getting up to 10hours on a normal day. Functional eReader and full of useful applications. Only bad was its design looked a little dated, but the performance certainly was not.

Price: $355.00

Overall: A worthy contender especially with its price, but just a 7inch screen.

The Xperia Tablet S looks wonderful. Everything you would expect from Sony, sleek looks and modern feel. The display of the screen is to match, with deep contrasting and vivid colors. Very powerful and gaming was very enjoyable. Responsive and fast with very little lag even from the highest demanding of games.

Price: $485.00

Overall: A bit pricey but very stylish. A tablet for the gaming pros.
