Estonians bought 75000 tablet computers in 2013

According to the analysis of market research company GfK Retail and Technology, 75,500 tablet computers were sold at the Estonian retail market in 2013 for 22.8 mln euros, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

The share of 7-inch tablet computers grew the fastest in 2013, year-on-year, forming in December already 32% of all tablet sales at the retail market.


Tele2 Eesti communications manager Hans Saarvelt said that still, the most popular devices are 10-inch tablet computers which formed 47% of all tablet computers sold in Estonia.


'We are a very big tablet nation. Estonians bought proportionally the biggest amount of tablet computers in comparison of ten Tele2 operating states last year,' he said.
